They are from Chrysler's Master Technician program. My Dad was a mechanic for a brief time in the late 60's to early 70's. He always kept these in his tool box, and I remember sneaking looks at them when I was a kid. He used to shoo me away as I had a habit of ruining his things as a a child. Yesterday I was helping him with some things around his house, and as he was rooting around his tool box looking for an pipe wrench he just handed them to me and said "Here these are yours." I hadn't seen these for probably 20 years since when my parents separated. Come to think of it, I was probably the last person to touch these. It meant a great deal to me though and thought I'd share.
Now I just have to clean them.

I got my grandfather's old ratchet set, unfortunately, they're really cheap ones, so some parts already broke.

Wow those are beautiful. I have never seen gold sockets/ratcheting wrenches. I don't know if I would ever use those tools...

It's nice to have things you know someone you loved used. Even if you can't.
I would never use these, but I noticed the ratchet is absurdly heavy compared to current ones.
